Kate started attending markets in 2014 and after attending a few outdoor markets, decided that an indoor market in Hahndorf would be perfect. With an indoor location it allows sellers to protect their stock and customers to be shielded from the winter weather in particular.

In 2015 I wanted to create a market that was specifically for micro (and small) businesses to grow and creating a market allows them to grow just that little bit more.
I have met so many local and small businesses, and have watched them grow and bloom into retail stores, finding their niche and I couldn’t be more proud of how each and every stall holder has come from meeting them at their first POP Market.
The market has become a great networking event for all that attend. The people you meet at POP Market just might be your new stockist, or the product you didn’t know existed until now.
