POP Market is coming back to the Hahndorf Institute this year with more new and exciting handmade stall holders.
Stall holders will be bringing their customers a whole range of handcrafted items and home produce. The range includes jewellery, candles, heat packs, greeting cards, wooden creations, beading creations, dream catchers, photography, cakes, jams and loads more! Our stalls holders are based around Adelaide CBD and the Adelaide Hills.
To see the range that our talented stall holders have, we’d love for you to POP in for our first market for the year. Sunday 12th March 2017. We are located inside the Hahndorf Institute, right next to the Hahndorf Post Office, on the Main Street.
Our opening hours are 11:30am until 5pm.
The beautiful handmade and home produced items are available for you to purchase every 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month from March to November. Please note we are only open on these dates for these two months: June 18 and December 10.
If you’re thinking of purchasing unique items for friends and family, this is the way to go! Support local, the makers and South Australia.
The Hahndorf Institute will be full of handmade crafts and produce this Easter Sunday, March 27 from 11.30am to 5pm as it opens its doors once again for the much loved Hahndorf POP Market.
The market will feature a range of stall holders selling local produce, homemade treats, paper craft, cards, illustrated artwork and other hand crafted items.
For the Easter Sunday POP Market, they are anticipating crowds of approx. 2000, with families, locals and tourists travelling from all over the world. Reflecting on the market’s crowd numbers from recent markets held this year, they are hoping to achieve this number of customers yet again, to create an energetic atmosphere for shoppers.
POP Market Manager, Kate Brand is looking forward to the day and said it is a great way to get out and support creators and producers for what they love doing for others.
“The Hahndorf POP Market is quite different and unique to other markets in the local area, we are located inside a historic building, and our stall holders make their own products and produce,” she said.
“It’s always nice to see our customers purchase a hand crafted item. We have seen wooden racing cars and roses, hand sewn children’s clothing, lupin heat bags, soaps, candles, sterling silver and dichroitic jewellery, and quirky animal illustrations. Our regular beekeeper sells honey products and we also have sweet slices, cupcakes and preserves.”
If you love to make and create and are interested in having a stall at the POP market contact Kate at email@example.com or call 0458 260 605 for more information.
